A Broadband Production…

Staring a cast of nine southwest Indiana counties and a talented group who shared a dream of providing high speed connectivity to everyone.

Growing the Region's Access to Broadband and Information Technology (GRABIT) is a planning project funded by Department of Labor WIRED funding. The planning exercise has provided a considerable amount of information, data and future plans concerning broadband connectivity in Southwest Indiana.

The planning project has run its course and we are conducting close out activities for the grant. However, as one project comes to a close, we are anticipating many new broadband enhancement projects to begin.

It has been time well spent sharing as Chair of the WIRED Broadband Committee. I think our GRABIT planning project has added significantly to the body of knowledge concerning broadband deployment and will serve as an effective jumping off point for future broadband initiatives.
